Starting at the north end of Ferndown Road at the Strait of Georgia, going south along Ferndowne Road and continuing in a straight line to the Little Qualicum River.  The boundary continues along the river in an easterly direction to the junction at Whiskey Creek, then follows Whiskey Creek south along the Alberni Highway.  The boundary follows the Alberni Highway in a westerly direction to Cameron Lake where it meets the boundary of the Port Alberni School District, turns north to where it meets the Courtenay School District boundary.  The boundary continues to the ocean, including Deep Bay Spit, and then follows the ocean to Ferndowne Road.
