The QBES Code of Conduct has been updated to limit cell phone use in schools before and during the school day, including lunch and recess breaks. Cell phones used on the bus will be put away before exiting the bus. We are happy to provide a landline in the office to parents and students needing to communicate through the school day. The intent of the policy is to reduce distractions, foster online safety, and provide consistency across BC schools. Exceptions - such as monitoring for certain health conditions - will be supported on a case by case basis .
